Measurements and field records

Microphone input is processed to calculate numeric levels only while you start a measurement on the screen. Raw audio files are neither stored nor transmitted to a server. Noise and illuminance values, measurement conditions, manually entered location names, responsible persons, notes and selected photos are kept in the app’s internal storage. The app does not request GPS location permission. Noise is an uncalibrated relative dBFS level or an estimate using a user offset, for reference use.

Photos, backups and sharing

Only photos you select through the system file picker are imported. The app stores a JPEG copy with original metadata, including location metadata, removed. Faces, names and facility details visible in the image are not removed automatically; check these before sharing. You can export selected records as PDF or PNG and share them with other apps. ZIP backups include records, photos and records in Trash. Apps and storage services you choose handle exported information under their own policies.

Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) for app-open ads. For advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, the SDK may collect and share IP addresses (which can estimate general location), app launches, taps, ad/video interactions, app and SDK performance/diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as advertising ID and app set ID. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Noise readings, raw audio, field records and photos are not passed to the advertising SDK. Ads depend on network access, ad inventory and consent status.

Consent and age

The intended audience is adults aged 18 or older. On first use you select an age range yourself; an initial UI selection is not treated as proof of adulthood or consent. The selected range is stored locally and can be changed at the bottom of Settings. Age-related ad protections apply for users under 18 or of unknown age. Google UMP collects advertising choices where required. When applicable, you can change choices through Advertising privacy in Settings. Android settings allow you to reset or delete the advertising ID.

Retention and deletion

Deleting a record moves it to recoverable app Trash. Internal app data is deleted when the app is uninstalled or when Android app storage is cleared. Operating-system automatic backup is disabled. Backups, exports and copies shared with another app must be deleted separately at their destinations. Advertising services retain and delete data under Google’s privacy policy and rights procedures. The app has no account registration.

Service providers and rights

Google may process information internationally while providing advertising and consent services. Regional consent and privacy rights can be exercised using Google’s consent screens and privacy tools. Details: https://policies.google.com/privacy
